2018 Summer Musicals!
Play Love will produce two musicals in summer 2018, for children age 3-17.
For both productions, an audition is required, but every child participating is cast in a part that will allow him or her to shine! This is one of the things that makes Read Play Love special: our focus on building the self-confidence and creative development of every single child participating. Even our auditions are designed to be empowering experiences.
Relevant dates and production fees are listed below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Saltwater Song Production Details
Auditions:
June 25 & 27
Rehearses:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, starting June 29
1:00-2:00 – “Spot Rehearsal” as needed for Principle Roles
2:00-3:30 – Juniors
4:00-6:00 – Mainstage
Performances:
Juniors: August 4 and 5, 2pm
Mainstage: August 9, 10, 11, 7 pm. August 13, 2pm
What is the Difference Between Mainstage and Juniors?
For "Saltwater Song" we will be casting a Mainstage and a Juniors Production, which perform on different weekends.
The Juniors production is an abbreviated & simplified version of the show, with matinee performances. It is designed to give younger and/or inexperienced performers an opportunity to enjoy more stage time playing developed characters, within an environment that grows their skills organically.
If your schedule will allow for either production, our strong preference is for families to remain open, and allow us to cast children where we think they fit best. Even our auditions are designed to be empowering experiences, and we create a role for every single child participating. In fact, one reason we enjoy writing shows ourselves is that we actually write the material to suit each individual child!
Saltwater Song Production Fees:
Production Fee is $199/child
Family Friendly Pricing for more than one child in show:
25% off both when 2 = $ 298 total for 2 children
