1. Summer Musical Theatre Productions
The full production experience in our own RPL theatre! In these productions, we focus on the creative self-discovery of each child by creating empowering experiences of solo and collaborative expression. Actors build confidence while expanding music and performance skills, and stage crew learns and applies knowledge of behind-the-scenes action – set, lights, sound, props, and stage management.

2. Performance Pizazz Camps!
Our Performance Pizazz Camps are all about creative empowerment! They offer unique 1-week opportunities that encourage kids to stretch out of their comfort zones and find their creative voices through acting, music, and dance. While teaching new skills, the emphasis on creative empowerment and meaningful expression. And, of course, lots of FUN!
Creative Movement and Meaning (Age 6-12) July 18, 20, 22 1:00-3:00 Learn how and why music moves you to move your body. Explore choreography, basic, dance positions and stretching along with music selected to move body and imagination alike!
The Spotlight Cafe Showcase (Age 8+) July 25, 27, 29 1:00-3:00 RPL turns into a hip coffee house as kids design their own “musical gig” to share with an audience on the Friday evening at the end of the week. The kids do it all: pick a theme, choose the songs, design lighting and sound, coordinate the menu, and perform and serve…the kids themselves create each aspect of this experience!
Dancing Fairy Camp (Age 3-7) August 1, 3, 5 1:00-3:00 Each young dancer is greeted with a pair of wings to wear during this week of fun dance and movement activities built around fun fairy themes!
Singing Master Class: Vocal Studio (Age 8+) August 8, 10, 12 1:00-3:00 Have a blast making your own recording reel of songs and voiceovers, with guidance from our professional team! Emphasis is on developing self-confidence and sparking the child’s inner light while learning new skills about the recording side of performing arts.
Choreography Creations (Age 6-12) August 15, 17, 19 1:00-3:00 Kids learn basic dance steps and are empowered to choreograph their own dances that tell a story and express their inner creative spark. All are welcome, from beginners to experienced dancers.
3. Science + Art Camps! The Flight Series!
Introducing the Flight Series! - Examine the physics of flight throughout nature and then design and build your own unique creations! As with all RPL Creativity Camps the classes build on each other, or can be taken independently.

4. Life Story...Creative Writing Camps!
The National PTA Reflections in Art theme for 2016-2017 is “What is Your Story?” and these camps offer ideal entrances to explore this theme through creative writing, sprinkled with inspiration from other creative disciplines.
The Story-Writing Scavenger Hunt (age 6-12) June 20, 22, 24 1:00-3:00 Young authors use games and treasure hunts to activate their imaginations and put their stories in words. Kids will create a finished work in a chosen format.
Poetry Fun Factory! (age 6-12) June 27, 29, August 1 1 1:00-3:00 Kids explore different poetic forms and structures, and experience the magic of turning their own life experiences into a collection of poems!
5. Art Adventures Camps!
Our exciting visual arts classes are focused on exposing kids to new media and ideas, and allowing free expression to come through! While artistic skills are introduced, our focus is always on the reflective process of art-making in a way that empowers each child.
Wee Play Love Art Camp (Age 2-5) June 28, 29, July 1 1:00-3:00 An inspiring introduction for young artists to enjoy hands-on art experiences.
Fantastical French Fun in Art: (age 6-12) July 6 and 8, 1:00-4:00 Kids get the unique opportunity to make their own interpretations of French masters and create French-inspired artwork…a great tie-in to our original RPL Summer Musical, “Alice in Paris!”
Cowboys and Mademoiselles (age 6-12) July 11, 13, 15 1:00-3:00 Create mixed-media artworks inspired by Paris, TX and Paris, France! A fantastic tie-in to our original RPL Summer Musical, “Alice in Paris” and a great way to experience a variety of artistic styles and projects. The week ends with a Gallery showing of all the creations!
The BIG Art Studio: (age 6-12) August 8, 10, 12 1:00-3:00 This week is all about making art that is Larger Than Life! Life-sized portraits, wall murals, and more BIG Fun!
BIG Art Studio for Big Kids (age 12+) August 15, 17, 19 3:00-5:00 Larger-than-life art projects especially for teens!
6. Kidpreneur Camp
Kidpreneur Camp (ages 6-12) July 18, 20, 22 1:00-3:00
Budding businesses are born in this week-long experience for young creative entrepreneurs! Kids will spend a week coming up with a business idea and creating a marketing plan to help it come to life! Our focus is helping kids learn how their passions can become profitable, and the steps to make it happen!
7. LEGO Fun Camps!
This series offers four exciting week-long adventures that bridges fun and learning and balance autonomy and collaboration! Kids are exposed to STEM concepts while stimulating their creativity through unique building and resilience challenges.
Week 1: LEGO Science – Fun Science Projects Using LEGOS! July 18, 20, 22 3:00-5:00
Compassion, collaboration, and creativity are nurtured in this rich series in which kids experience projects, games, and techniques exploring the concepts that connect our minds and bodies: energy, flow, relaxation, presence, ancient ritual, oneness, and mindfulness.
